Matthew Collins

Matthew Collins is responsible for managing and directing the construction of Related Beal’s high-rise luxury residential and commercial buildings. This responsibility includes ensuring contract performance, safety compliance and quality control, as well as managing complex permit and government requirements.

Examples of Mr. Collins’ large scope Boston projects with Related Beal include:

• The Clarendon/One Back Bay: A 530,000-square-foot, 33-story residential/mixed-use development that includes condominium and rental residences, restaurant and retail space, a US Post Office and four stories of below-grade parking.
• Parcel 1B: New construction of a 15-story, ~500,000-gross-square-foot mixed-use building with the following components: (i) 239 income-restricted residential units; (ii) 220-key Courtyard Marriot hotel; (iii) 9,771 square feet of ground-level retail space across three locations; and (iv) structured parking garage with valet capacity of 220 spaces.

Mr. Collins has over 30 years of experience in the construction industry. Prior to joining Related Beal in 2015, Mr. Collins worked as a Project Executive for both Suffolk Construction and Sea Dar Construction, as a Senior Project Manager for Bovis Lend Lease and as a Project Director and as several other positions at Perini Construction.

Mr. Collins attended the United States Military Academy, where he played varsity hockey, and Northeastern University, where he received his B.S. degree in Civil Engineering.
